We're a multi-brand franchise holding company operating a nine-unit franchise across South Florida. We're bringing on an experienced multi-unit operator to lead our nine stores through an ownership transition — tightening operational controls, plugging margin and cash-handling leaks, and getting all locations running to standard. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role for someone who can walk into a portfolio mid-transition and stabilize it without hand-holding.
This is structured as a contract-to-hire engagement: a defined initial term, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent leadership seat if it's the right fit for both sides.
Performance Bonuses upwards of 25k+ Tied to milestones.
What you'll own
- Run weekly operational audits across all nine stores — cash handling and deposit reconciliation, comp/discount controls, labor, food cost, cleanliness, and brand-standard compliance.
- Coordinate directly with store GMs and two District Managers, holding each accountable to a store-level scorecard.
- Drive labor scheduling and compliance across the portfolio — labor % to sales, Florida wage-and-hour compliance, certification tracking.
- Enforce margin and discount discipline at the unit level; identify and stop cash-handling and comp irregularities.
- Oversee active capex and remodel projects — equipment replacement and a mandated store remodel — keeping scope, budget, and timelines on track.
- Report operational performance and risks directly to ownership on a defined cadence.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years multi-unit QSR / fast-casual management (must have run multiple units simultaneously, not a single high-volume store).
- Restaurant365 (R365) hands-on experience.
- Paylocity experience (payroll / HR / certification tracking).
- Toast POS experience.
- Labor scheduling and wage-and-hour compliance fluency — ideally Florida.
- Capex and remodel / store-build project experience — managing equipment replacement and store refreshes on budget.
- Fully self-directed — able to run the portfolio and report up without daily supervision.
- Based in South Florida and able to travel between stores across all three counties.
Preferred
- Smoothie / juice / beverage-forward concept background (Jamba, Tropical Smoothie, Smoothie King, or similar).
- Franchise-system operating experience and familiarity with franchisor brand audits.
- Unit-level P&L ownership and comfort defending COGS / labor against target.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
