Maintain and organize resident medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Ensure records are accurate, complete, and up to date
Manage electronic and paper filing systems
Assist with audits and regulatory surveys
Coordinate with nursing and administrative staff for documentation needs
Protect patient confidentiality at all times
Previous experience in medical records or healthcare administration preferred
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
