Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist
Location: Smyrna TN
Duration: Long Term
Rate: $50/hr. on 1099
Role will be Part Time 5 Hours a day
Responsibilities:
SLP - Needed long-term beginning immediately.
This position is Mon. - Friday This would be two days of 7.5 hours and one day 5 hours. This will be flexible and must meet the needs of our students schedule and flexible to cover other therapist if needed. Two (2) SLPs are being sought at 20 hours per week each.
The SLP will have the following job duties:
- Work within an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/ST) with students enrolled in various vocational areas of study (AOS) to provide supports such as:
- Classroom strategies for processing information, social skills, and attention to task
- Time management
- Recommendations for accommodations related to communication/speech/social interaction/following multi-step commands
- Hands on supports in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands on training area
- Supports for student internship sites
