As their Electronic Security division continues to experience rapid growth, they are looking for an experienced Technician to join the team and take the lead on high-level commercial installations.
The Role
We are seeking an Electronic Security Technician who specializes in the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of commercial Access Control and CCTV camera systems.
You won't be micromanaged. You will be handed complex commercial projects and trusted to execute them to the highest standard, from pulling the low-voltage wire to the final software configuration.
What You Will Do:
- Installation & Integration: Install, terminate, and program commercial Access Control and Video Surveillance/CCTV systems (Keri Access, AXIS, SPECO, Alta/OpenPath, etc)
- Low Voltage Wiring: Safely and efficiently run, conceal, and terminate low-voltage cabling across various commercial construction environments.
- System Configuration: Set up IP addresses, configure networks, and program software for cloud-based and on-premise security platforms.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues in the field.
- Client Interaction: Train end-users and facility managers on how to operate their new systems effectively.
What We Are Looking For
We need a technician who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has specific hands-on experience with this core technology stack:
Preferred System Experience with:
- Keri Systems (Access Control)
- Avigilon / OpenPath (Access Control & Video)
- AXIS (IP Cameras)
Core Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in electronic security, low-voltage wiring, or systems integration.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong understanding of basic IP networking (assigning IP addresses, troubleshooting connectivity).
- Excellent mechanical aptitude (using power tools, drilling, mounting hardware).
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work on ladders/lifts and carry up to 50 lbs.
