Position Overview
Apex Oral Surgery is seeking a motivated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing private practice in Tallahassee, Florida.
This opportunity offers a competitive guaranteed daily minimum with additional monthly compensation based on the surgeon’s adjusted collections. It is designed for an OMFS seeking strong earning potential, provider autonomy, flexible weekend-focused work, and the opportunity to grow with an expanding private practice.

Clinical Scope
This is a full-scope OMFS opportunity. The practice’s primary case mix includes:
- Surgical and nonsurgical extractions
- Third-molar surgery
- Dental implant placement
- Bone grafting and related procedures
- IV sedation and office-based anesthesia
- Additional oral and maxillofacial procedures within the surgeon’s training and comfort level
Practice Support and Facilities
The surgeon will work in a fully operational, clinically ready oral surgery facility equipped with CBCT imaging and the equipment necessary to perform office-based oral surgery and anesthesia.
Our support structure includes:
- Trained oral surgical assistants
- An established front-office team
- Dedicated office manager
- Administrative and ownership support
- OMFS leadership available to support the provider’s success
- Existing systems for scheduling, patient coordination, and daily practice operations
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Recent OMFS graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Current and unrestricted Florida dental license (recent grads considered)
- Appropriate Florida anesthesia permit and required life-support certifications (recent grads considered)
- Ability to provide full-scope office-based oral surgery and anesthesia services
- Must carry individual malpractice and professional liability insurance
- Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
- Board certification is not required
