Amazing Prep Academy is a faith-based, high quality preschool at the Amazing Church in McKinney. We are looking for a qualified Lead PreK Teacher who has a passion for Early Education and want to make a difference in the lives of young children. Full time schedules available.
Job Duties:
- Use lesson plans with Brighwheel's Experience Learning curriculum for best developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Plan children's learning & skill growth through observation and assessment
- Take ownership of your specific classroom space to Create nurturing and stimulating environment leading to tremendous pride in your accomplishments
- Communicate to parents regularly, using our App on your classroom ipad, about their child's progress
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Make every day FUN for your kids and yourself!
Requirements:
- Teach from a Biblical Worldview
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- CDA earns higher hourly wage, BS even higher
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to use engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively with directors, colleagues, parents
Skills:
- Child behavior management
- Classroom environment organization
- Proficiency in math concepts for young children
- Creative use of curriculum, adaptive to children's developmental level
- Understanding of childhood development stages
- Ability to interact with other adults in a joyful manner
