The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, monitoring, access control, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to legal, safety, and company standards. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and safety hazards, ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets.

Minimum Qualifications for Security Officers:
- Must possess and maintain BSIS California Guard Card Certification
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in general security industry standards and methods
- Valid Driver’s License
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of background check
- If prior military, one must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
Duties and Responsibilities for Armed Security Officers:
- Provide security services at assigned site according to the site post order duty requirements
- Utilize our tracking software in the performance of daily duties
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports as needed
- Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Maintain visitor and employee access logs
- Maintain a professional appearance
Physical functions and working environment:
- Frequent extended sitting, standing, and walking
- Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
- Frequent reaching and grasping
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds
- Occasional running
