Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation tasks.
- Manage customer orders through food service systems, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and give correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation protocols, including bussing tables, cleaning equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong food handling skills combined with culinary experience are desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred.
- Retail math skills or grocery store experience are advantageous for managing sales transactions effectively.
