Job Overview
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading our production team to deliver high-quality glass products for our customers. Your leadership, accountability, and ability to develop others will directly impact team performance, operational efficiency, and overall success. By setting clear expectations, reinforcing our core values, and driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, you will help ensure we consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Accountability:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees to consistently meet or exceed company goals.
- Foster a positive work environment by demonstrating integrity, accountability, and respect.
- Hold team members accountable to performance standards, ensuring clarity in expectations and follow-through on commitments.
- Performance Management:
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify employee growth and development opportunities.
- Address performance issues promptly and professionally, focusing on solutions and improvement.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that quality and deadlines are consistently met.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety policies, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of communication between employees and management.
- Regularly update the team on production goals, changes in processes, and company priorities.
- Actively listen to employee concerns and work to resolve challenges effectively.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and respect.
- Demonstrated ability to hold team members accountable while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Experience in meeting production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must pass a background check.
Schedule, Wage & Benefits
- Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Overtime as needed
