Full Time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 745-5 PM (32 hours / week)

Clinical Orthodontic Assistant Job Expectations
The right candidate will be a dependable, patient-focused, and team-oriented individual seeking a long-term career in orthodontics.
Our preference is for a candidate who has at least one year of orthodontic assisting experience. However, we are WILLING TO TRAIN a candidate who is a perfect fit for our team and who has the desire to grow with the practice. Detailed training systems are in place to provide a positive learning space for a growth minded person who wants to succeed in a thriving business. Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring that the necessary orthodontic instruments are on hand during patient appointments
- Preparing teeth for and assisting the orthodontist with the installation of braces, various orthodontic appliances, and retainers
- Removing and replacing arch wires
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare
- Maintaining accurate records of oral health and treatment progress for each patient
- Sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Diagnostic records
