Site Surveyor

Trinity Solar is seeking a detail-oriented Site Surveyor to perform residential property assessments that support the design and installation of high-quality solar energy systems. In this field-based role, you'll visit customer homes to gather critical roof, structural, electrical, and property information that ensures every solar installation starts with accurate data.

What You'll Do
- Conduct residential site surveys to collect roof, structural, electrical, and property measurements.
- Capture detailed photos of roofs, electrical equipment, and property conditions using company technology.
- Assess roof characteristics, including dimensions, pitch, material type, condition, shading, and potential obstructions.
- Identify site conditions that could impact solar system design or installation, such as roof access, tree coverage, structural concerns, or electrical limitations.
- Accurately document survey findings and upload measurements, photos, and reports into company systems.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure accurate project planning.
- Maintain company-issued equipment, ladders, tools, and vehicles in safe working condition.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements while performing field work.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Trinity Solar at customer homes.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, solar, surveying, electrical, home inspections, or a related field required.
- Comfortable working on rooftops, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to take accurate measurements and document findings.
- Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and software applications to complete field documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily field schedule.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and safely access residential rooftops.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk uneven terrain and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights while following all safety procedures.
