Responsibilities
- Install interior trim, including baseboards, casing, crown molding, and door/window trim
- Assist with or perform demolition, layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly of materials
- Collaborate on finishing details to ensure high-quality results
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow project plans, instructions from leads, and building codes
- Identify and report safety hazards or issues on site
- Load/unload materials and tools as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in carpentry, construction, remodeling, or related fields.
- Have your own basic hand tools.
- Physically able to lift up to 85 lbs regularly and perform manual labor
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required (must be willing to commute up to 1 hour to job sites around Grand Rapids, MI)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions clearly
- Observant and proactive about surroundings, safety issues, and quality control
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Pass a background check
