As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the expectations of pet owners.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs.
- Utilize proper animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of pets during grooming.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering positive relationships with clients and their pets.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required.
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and handling various breeds is essential.
- Experience in customer service is beneficial to ensure a positive client experience.
- Knowledge of pet care practices, including basic health assessments, is an asset.
- Marketing and social media experience is a plus.
