Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system configurations.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies within electrical circuits.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Install and test programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes effectively.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures during installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities to minimize hazards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure electrical work aligns with blueprints, schematics, and local codes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics related to industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage control systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently using diagnostic techniques.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Additional skills such as frame carpentry or handyman experience are a plus for supporting broader project needs.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
