Prominent manufacturer in the aluminum industry seeks a career minded full-time 1st shift Industrial Maintenance Technician who wants to learn and grow with our company. Candidate must work well with others in a team environment and be self-motivated possessing the ability to work independently.
Job Description
As an integral member of our maintenance team, perform daily preventive and general maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment as well as general buildings and grounds maintenance activities. Regularly perform tasks requiring a working knowledge of electrical wiring, motors and industrial equipment. Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs and work in an environment that fluctuates with the seasons.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability and willingness to learn essential. Ability to weld and fabricate both in the field and on the bench a plus. Industrial maintenance experience or post-secondary certification in an industrial maintenance related field desirable.
