Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of commercial HVAC systems following schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans.
- Support the setup and connection of refrigeration units, , and air conditioning components.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanical parts.
- Help with the assembly, repair, and maintenance of HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment
- Follow safety protocols,
- Aid experienced technicians in reading schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise system setup.
- Participate in testing procedures to verify system operation and identify potential issues before commissioning.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, service technician roles, or mechanical work is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, refrigeration technology a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge including plumbing, welding, and equipment repair is advantageous.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters or multimeters is beneficial.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and property maintenance practices will support success in this role.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Previous field service experience involving appliance repair or property upkeep will help you excel in this hands-on position.
