Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Illinois State Occupational Therapy License (IDFPR required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Adaptability to work with students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to meet the unique needs of each student within your caseload
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with the education team
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in relevant meetings
- Provide guidance to staff and families on strategies to support students’ classroom participation and independence
