Location:Millville, NJ/Voorhees/Atlantic
Schedule: Monday – Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Department: Community Inclusion Program/Building manager
Supervisor: Coordinator
Position Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Dukes Helping Hands Community Inclusion program while also providing direct support to participants. In a small agency setting, this role requires strong organization, leadership, and the ability to support both program development and participant engagement.
The Program Manager will help maintain program structure, support staff, assist with documentation, and ensure that individuals receive quality services that promote independence, community integration, and social development.
Work Schedule
Monday – Wednesday
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The Program Manager will be actively present within the program and may also provide direct support to participants during program activities and community outings.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Operations
- Assist with daily program operations and scheduling
- Ensure activity calendars are followed and participants remain engaged
- Support staff with guidance and problem solving
- Assist with organizing program materials and environment
- Help maintain a structured and positive program environment
Participant Support
- Provide direct support to individuals participating in Community Inclusion services
- Encourage independence, social interaction, and participation in activities
- Assist with community outings and engagement opportunities
- Support individuals in life skill development and daily routines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times
Staff Support & Communication
- Communicate with staff regarding daily expectations and program structure
- Assist with addressing minor staff concerns or questions during program hours
- Support training reminders regarding engagement, documentation, and program expectations
- Maintain communication with the Director regarding program needs or concerns
Documentation & Compliance
- Assist in ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Support organization of program records and compliance materials
- Monitor completion of activity schedules and program participation logs
- Assist with incident reporting or behavior documentation when necessary
Transportation & Community Activities
The Program Manager may use their personal vehicle to assist with community outings or program-related tasks.
Mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved work-related travel in accordance with Dukes Helping Hands mileage reimbursement policy.

Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Experience in leadership, coordination, or supervisory roles preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver’s license
