Responsible for carrying out specific projects in Sanitation in the Freezer as directed by the Supervisor and/or the Sanitation Leadperson to ensure the areas of responsibility are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with the Company USDA standards.

Cleans all food processing equipment and production areas involved in the Freezer in accordance with USDA sanitation techniques and procedures
- Performs other duties including but not limited to trash hauling, waste hauling, painting, grounds keeping, snow removal, janitorial services, etc.

Immediately reports any mechanical or safety problems to Supervisor or Leadperson.

Adheres to common safety practices and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.

Adheres to the Company’s plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.

Responsible for physically lifting up to 100 pounds as required.

Ensures safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks and all industrial man lifts.

Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, HACCP, safety, food security, plant security, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Leadperson.
