As the Assistant Service Manager (ASM) at Slackwater, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the guest experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and assisting with the front-of-house operations. Your role involves leading and training staff, addressing customer concerns, and implementing strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Must have or be able to obtain the following certifications:
1. Servsafe Manager certification
2. On-Premise Manager Alcohol certification
1. Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
2. Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including guest seating, table management, and coordination with kitchen staff. Ensure smooth and efficient service during peak times.
3. Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events. Adjust schedules as needed to address staffing issues or changes in demand.
4. Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere within the restaurant.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Other duties as assigned.
