SUMMARY: Incumbents are responsible for customer service by providing information, answering the telephone, program registration, memberships, rentals and performing related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:

- Using modern office equipment
- Keyboarding
- Using a computer and related software applications
- Customer service
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with associate personnel, other City employees and the general public
- Tactfully and courteously interact with children and adults participating in recreation activities

- Provide quality customer service
- Participate in teamwork productively
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Use interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc., to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
THIS IS A PART-TIME 20-25 HOUR PER WEEK POSITION. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK EVENING/WEEKENDS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
