Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction techniques and be comfortable working on construction sites. As a Lead Fence Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of various types of fencing, ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality and durability. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install different types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental.
- Prepare the site by marking out fence lines and digging post holes.
- Assemble fence panels and gates using power tools and hand tools.
- Perform concrete forming for fence posts to ensure stability.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently, safely, and on budget.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to minimize risks.
- Lead projects from start to finish with the assistance from the Project Manager
Skills
- Punctuality is a necessary skill .
- Leadership qualities to train skilled helpers assigned on the crew.
- Proficiency in Chainlink, different Wood Installs, Ornamental Iron of different styles will be a must.
- Gate Operator installation knowledge considered a plus.
- Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns.
- Experience with hand tools including hammers, levels, and measuring tapes.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques for secure fence installations.
- Familiarity with masonry skills for integrating fences into existing structures or landscapes.
- Background in commercial fencing is a strongly considered
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of installation work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
