Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, coloring, and hair care treatments tailored to each client's preferences and needs
- Perform barbering services including straight razor shaves and precision haircuts with attention to detail
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations in accordance with industry regulations
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their desired outcomes and offering expert recommendations
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to boost sales and improve client results
- Mentor junior team members on technical skills, customer service excellence, and salon procedures
- Manage front desk operations including greeting clients, booking appointments, and processing payments using retail math principles
Skills
- Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient appointment booking and client management
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on hair styling, coloring, and grooming techniques
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and precision cuts
- Skilled in hair extensions application, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services
- Deep understanding of color theory to achieve desired hair coloring results while maintaining hair health
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and personalized service delivery
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing value-added recommendations
