MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Reliable Transportation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge of cleaning operations and basic grounds maintenance. Ability to lift and manipulate moderately heavy objects. Ability to use cleaning fluids and supplies. Ability to perform basic grounds maintenance and use tools applicable to the task. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Ability to communicate and respond positively to customer service questions and comments. Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety and security procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERICS:
Position requires: (1) having a working and operating telephone; (2) responding to emergency situations; and, (3) being receptive to resident questions and comments.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires physical work: lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, pushing or pulling objects, and bending over repeatedly.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
