About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, Certified Perinatal Doula to provide compassionate, professional support to clients throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. This is a part-time opportunity, up to 15 hours per week, ideal for an advanced-level doula looking for flexible, meaningful work.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to clients during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Educate clients and families on childbirth options, comfort measures, and newborn care
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized birth plans
- Support breastfeeding/chestfeeding initiation and bonding in the early postpartum period
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with medical staff, families, and support teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to client needs with sensitivity, professionalism, and cultural competence
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Perinatal/Birth Doula (e.g., DONA, CAPPA, ICEA, or equivalent recognized certifying body)
- Advanced experience supporting clients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends as needed for client births
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations/facilities
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Must be able to pass required background checks and clearances

- Part-time, up to 15 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
