Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including framing, remodeling, door hanging, base and trim moldings, drywall, taping and painting. The Carpenter/Laborer will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently. **Work References Required.**
Duties
- Perform frame carpentry for residential and commercial projects.
- Execute trim carpentry tasks, ensuring precise measurements and finishes.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for improved aesthetics and insulation.
- Ensure structures are plumb and level during construction processes.
- Install flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, and tile.
- Engage in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in frame carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall, taping and painting, caulking, and related skills.
- Experience in flooring installation is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of remodeling processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
