Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic On-Air Radio Personality to captivate audiences and bring vibrant energy to our broadcasting team. In this role, you will serve as the voice of our station, engaging listeners through compelling storytelling, lively commentary, and interactive content. Your creativity and technical expertise will help craft memorable radio experiences that resonate with diverse audiences across multiple platforms. Duties
- Deliver engaging live or pre-recorded on-air content that aligns with station branding and audience interests
- Develop and execute creative show segments, including interviews, music playlists, news updates, and entertainment features
- Operate broadcast studio equipment confidently, including microphones, audio mixers, and audio/video processing tools
- Edit audio and video content using professional media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and other media editing software
- Coordinate with production teams on post-production tasks, including sound editing, graphic design for promotional materials, and video production
- Monitor live broadcasts for quality control, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and ensure smooth show flow
- Maintain a thorough understanding of broadcast regulations and station policies while interpreting audience feedback to improve programming
Qualifications
- Proven experience in media or broadcasting as a radio personality or similar role; journalism or technical writing experience is a plus
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences through verbal communication and content creation
- Familiarity with broadcast studio equipment operation including microphones, audio consoles, lighting setups for video production, and media audio production tools
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms; bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Ability to interpret audience preferences and adapt content accordingly; experience in project management is beneficial
