We are looking for hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team at a brand-new 109-room Hampton Inn.
As a member of our opening team, you will play an important role in establishing the cleanliness standards and guest experience of our hotel from day one. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and understand that a clean, comfortable room is one of the most important parts of a great hotel stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Hampton Inn and hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, and floors.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and assigned areas.
- Clean mirrors, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Restock guest room supplies as needed.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance issues.
- Report maintenance problems or damaged items promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, housekeeping areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Properly handle cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.
- Follow hotel procedures for lost and found items.
- Respect guest privacy and hotel property.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality cleaning standards.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help coworkers.
- Ability to work at a consistent pace while maintaining quality.
- Professional and courteous when interacting with guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays as scheduled.
