The Trauma Injury Prevention and Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing injury prevention programs and community outreach initiatives within the health system. This role focuses on reducing the incidence of trauma and injury through education, advocacy, and direct community engagement.
Experience: Minimum 5 years Community Outreach or Education
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Training: Certification/Instructor status within 6 months of hire for related injury prevention initiatives. i.e. Matter of Balance Training, Stop the Bleed, Sudden Impact, and CPST.
Special Skills: Participation in trauma organization within the first year of hire. Proficient in the use of software programs such as MS word and MS Excel.
Licensure: BLS Certification, American Heart Association Sponsored
