Job Overview
We’re looking for a high-performing Property Manager who brings strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and professionalism to the role. Real estate experience is helpful but not essential—we believe the right person can learn the industry. What matters most is your ability to manage client relationships, solve problems proactively, and represent our team with confidence and care.
You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio, serving as a trusted partner to both property owners and tenants. A key part of this role is coordinating the entire unit turnover process—from move-out through inspections, maintenance, and preparing homes for their next residents. If you’re organized, people-focused, and ready to grow, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including owner and tenant relations.
- Build and grow your portfolio by developing and maintaining strong owner relationships.
- Coordinate the complete unit turnover process, including tracking move-out dates, scheduling inspections, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring units are rent-ready.
- Perform move-out, renewal, and periodic property inspections, documenting property condition and identifying maintenance needs.
- Prepare lease renewals in accordance with local and state laws and communicate with property owners regarding renewals and property availability.
- Work closely with the maintenance team, vendors, and homeowners to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Monitor unit readiness and vacancy timelines to help minimize days on market.
- Maintain accurate property records, inspection reports, maintenance updates, and turnover documentation using AppFolio.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to property management and leasing.
- Develop and implement policies that enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Manage budgets for property operations, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, owners, vendors, and contractors through exceptional customer service.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Willingness to learn real estate and property management operations.
- Previous experience in real estate or property management is preferred but not required.
- Experience with property management software such as AppFolio is a plus.
- Understanding of facilities management, maintenance coordination, or government housing programs is a bonus.
- Ability to navigate vendor relationships, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Comfortable preparing reports, tracking property conditions, and communicating updates to property owners.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property inspections and site visits.
