Position Summary:
Craftex is seeking friendly, dependable, full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our retail team. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements
- Verify and inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Verify received materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents
- Create shipping labels, invoices, and necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments
- Work closely with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service when helping customers in store, online and on the phone
- Assist other departments as needed to support business operations
Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be reliable, friendly and able to multitask
- Be able to stand on your feet during your entire shift and able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Able to climb a 12ft ladder
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- English REQUIRED (Bilingual is a plus)
Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly pay: $12.00 - $15.00 depending on experience
- Full-time position with required weekend and holiday shifts
- Potential for overtime hours is available
