Job description
HCLFF provides wrap-around services in the areas of Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC), Psychotropic Medication Management, and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). We are seeking to hire a Part Time Therapist who has experience working in the social service field and providing therapy services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete mental status and psychosocial assessment of clients
- Provide individual and family therapy services, through telemedicine, implementing goal specific and measurable treatment plans.
- Refer client's to the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) when appropriate
- Complete and review individual treatment plans with clients twice a year
- Consult regularly with psychiatrists on member care
- Prepare and submit reports on mental health activities as requested
- Participate in staff development meetings and in quality of care activities on a monthly basis
- Manage panel and practice management within departmental guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work with clients ages 5-18 and adults
- Patient coordination experience: minimum 1 year (Required)
- Behavioral Health experience: minimum 2 years (Required)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency: minimum 1 year (Required)
- Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred
Education:
- Current LGPC, LMSW, LCSW-C (preferred) or LCPC (preferred) licensure in the state of Maryland
- Post Baccalaureate Degree in social work or related field (such as Psychology, Counseling, etc.)
Job Type:
- Part Time (Caseload of 20 clients or less)
- Fee for service Independent Contractor 1099 position (HCLFF does not withhold taxes from pay)
Rate:
- $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
