Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu planning and development, providing input based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Uphold high standards of quality control for all dishes served to guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food service industry, preferably in fine dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and meal preparation processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
