Summary of Responsibilities:
All technicians will be required to know and understand all PMG PA Policies and Procedures; this includes Quality, HSE and Maintenance Work Instructions. To be successful a technician will need to have excellent communication and multitasking skills. Technicians must ensure that Quality is built into their process at all times, doing this will be one of their primary objectives to ensure we deliver a quality part to our customers. Technicians will be expected to gain an understanding of troubleshooting required machines and the automation ensuring the efficient operation of both to optimal production. Technicians will be evaluated on the necessary skills required to complete their job tasks, along with their general teamwork and work performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as designated):
· Know and follow all applicable HSE policies and procedures, including Hazard ID’s and JSA’s
· Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and potential problems in a timely manner per policy
· Employee must recognize the importance of quality and the effect of their work on the final product.
· All PMG employees will be required to follow all Quality and Area Work Instructions and Procedures
· Employee will be required to complete all required forms and documentation in given area
· All PMG PA employee must recognize the importance of good housekeeping and 5s as a given requirement
· All troubleshooting, employee must be knowledgeable of all operations of the machine
· Assist with 5S items associated with the Maintenance Department
· Assist the Maintenance Technicians as necessary for major equipment repairs
· Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the Maintenance Shop
· Responsible for Facility duties as designated by Maintenance Supervisor
Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· 0-1 Years Maintenance experience with emphasis on Inspections and Mechanical Repairs
Other Qualification and Skills Required:
· Ability to work with basic mathematical equations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
· Ability to utilize various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office software (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK), ERP system, and other internal systems.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
