We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic educator join our team. This position offers the opportunity to support an experienced Pre-K teacher during the morning and lead an afternoon classroom, making a meaningful impact throughout the day.
Position Overview
- Morning: Serve as the Pre-K Assistant Teacher, supporting the lead teacher with classroom instruction, learning activities, and daily routines.
- Afternoon: Transition into the role of Lead Teacher in our Early Education Center, planning and leading age-appropriate activities while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Assist the morning Pre-K teacher with lessons, classroom management, and student engagement.
- Lead the afternoon classroom by implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Follow all state licensing requirements and school policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also confidently leading a classroom independently.
