Dave's Super Car Care Inc., a Valvoline Express Care operator, is hiring a Lube Center Assistant Manager! The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a quick lube service center. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, leading and developing team members, ensuring efficient vehicle service operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and helping achieve sales and profitability goals.
What you will do as Assistant Lube Manager.

Assist in managing day-to-day shop operations to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Open and close the facility as needed.

Monitor service quality and ensure all work is completed according to company standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.

Supervise technicians and service advisors during assigned shifts.

Assist with employee training, coaching, and performance development.

Help create work schedules and manage labor efficiently.

Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.

Greet customers and ensure a professional, friendly experience.

Address customer concerns and resolve service issues promptly.

Explain recommended services and maintenance needs clearly and honestly.

Build customer loyalty through exceptional service and communication.

Support achievement of sales, service, and profitability goals.

Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.

Monitor key performance metrics and recommend improvements.

Promote additional maintenance services that benefit customers and their vehicles.

Perform or assist with oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, and other preventive maintenance services as needed.

Ensure technicians follow proper service procedures and quality standards.

Verify completion of services and inspect work for accuracy.
What skills you will need.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous automotive service experience preferred.

Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventive services.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions.

Ability to perform hands-on automotive service duties when required.
Typical Schedule: Full-time, including evenings, weekends, as business needs require.
