Job Purpose:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the proper collection of all accounts receivable in a timely fashion. Responsible for the proper recording of these accounts once payment is received or paid.
Assists Executive V.P./CFO in additional financial and pricing capacity.
Primary Responsibilities / Duties:
- Corporate Accounting functions, including but not limited to: Bank Account Reconciliation, Financial Statements, A/R, A/P.
- Process cash receipts daily for Lock Box and ACH.
- Send Weekly AR Statements and follow up on all Past Due invoices to verify payment status.
- Assist with processing and justify AR deductions from Customers and enter Credit Memos as needed.
- Assist with updating and maintaining pricing system in ERP system.
- Enter and send out Weekly Market notifications.
- Initiate Broker Commission reports monthly.
- Initiate Customer Accrual reports monthly/quarterly.
- Help to maintain current product pricing, monthly and weekly markets in ERP system.
- Runs costing report at the direction of Executive V.P./CFO.
- File all AR paperwork digitally on server.
- Sales support for Customers, Brokers and Internal Sales personnel with Quotes, Pricing Maintenance and Reporting.
- Compile information from a variety of sources to prepare standard reports and/or exhibits.
- Deputy for Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Associates degree required. Five years accounting/administrative assistant experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster the development of an efficient and cohesive manufacturing organization. Ability to organize and develop the talent around them.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization. Strong discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to understand and utilize P&L and KPI reports to improve corporate performance.
- Ability to proofread own work and that of others for format, consistency and accuracy.
- Strong discretion with confidential information.
- Eligible to work in the United States, must have proper ID.
- Must have a clean criminal background and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
