Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and responsible Host/Cashier to join our team at Mr. Chubby Rowland Height. This role is an important part of our front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent food quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

- Wage: $18.5 per hour plus tips, subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholdings.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments correctly.
- Answer customer questions about the menu, ordering process, and pickup area.
- Help customers with self-service ordering or pickup when needed.
- Communicate customer requests or order issues clearly with kitchen team members.
- Organize completed orders and assist with handing orders to customers.
- Keep the cashier counter, ordering area, pickup area, and front-of-house space clean and organized.
- Restock front counter supplies, including utensils, napkins, bags, receipt paper, cups, and to-go items.
- Handle customer concerns politely and notify a manager when needed.
- Follow company procedures for cash handling, customer service, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Support daily front-of-house operations as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience using a POS system is a plus.
- Must be friendly, patient, and comfortable communicating with customers.
- Ability to take orders accurately and handle payments responsibly.
- Basic math and cash handling skills are preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food court, quick-service, or self-service dining environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work well with team members.
- Food Handler Certificate required or must be obtained before starting.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
