Ascend Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Provider (NP, PA, or Physician) to join our Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
In this role, you will provide medication management and clinical oversight for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, using evidence-based treatment approaches. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Telehealth options available, with some on-site collaboration as needed.
Duties
- Conduct psychiatric and substance use evaluations
- Prescribe and manage MAT medications (buprenorphine, naltrexone)
- Monitor patient progress and medication response
- Collaborate with therapists and multidisciplinary team
- Participate in treatment planning and case reviews
- Provide patient education on medications and recovery
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR
- Support crisis intervention when needed
Experience
- Active Virginia license as NP (PMHNP preferred), PA, or Physician (MD/DO)
- DEA license required
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
- Familiarity with MAT protocols (buprenorphine, naltrexone)
- Ability to accurately diagnose and document substance use and co-occurring disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Pay: $90.00 - $150.00 per hour
