Bread Baker Full-Time | Bakery Production
We're looking for a dedicated Bread Baker or mixer to join our team. This is a hands-on production role — just a passion for baking, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily bread production including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking sourdough, baguettes, loaves, hoagies, and bagels
- Follow established recipes and production schedules to meet daily output goals
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, proper temperature logging, sanitation protocols)
- Handle, store, and rotate ingredients properly per food safety guidelines
- Communicate low stock needs with staff, team player, communiciates and does well in team environment.
- Support team members and take direction from shift leads
- Available early mornings and is a team player
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery or worked with bread as a mixer or baker.
- Basic familiarity with bread baking or a strong desire to learn artisan techniques
- Food Handler's Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
- Comfortable standing for extended periods in a warm production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and available for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Team player with strong attention to detail and quality
A plus, but not required
- Experience with sourdough fermentation or bread baking
- ServSafe certification
- Speaks spanish
