We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee and coordinate paving operations. The ideal candidate will assist in scheduling, supervising, and guiding the asphalt crew, ensuring efficient and safe paving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule daily work assignments for asphalt crew.
- Supervise and direct asphalt laborers and equipment operators in paving activities.
- Provide training and development for crew members.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and procedures.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Complete required paperwork efficiently.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in asphalt paving operations and equipment operation.
- DOT, County, and Municipal experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends).
- Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
- Ability to pass drug tests and background check.
