Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks such as tanker trucks, to deliver fuel across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques , ensuring proper cargo securing in compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Follow all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to truck driving, hazardous materials handling, and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with a focus on logistics cargo handling.
- Familiarity tank trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), DOT regulations, and safety standards for dangerous goods.
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during deliveries.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean record and experience.
- Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures, route driving best practices, and safety protocols for hazardous materials transportation.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
