Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments in SAP. This role also coordinates outbound shipments, prepares customer orders for delivery, and ensures timely and accurate fulfillment while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process and record receipts in SAP and maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate outbound shipments of finished products according to customer requirements and shipping schedules.
Prepare all required shipping documentation, labels, packing lists, and customer-specific paperwork.
Inspect outgoing materials to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organized storage areas and support inventory control activities.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to the handling, storage, and transportation of materials.
Communicate effectively with internal departments, carriers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipment tracking processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting, counting, and documenting materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience is a plus but not required.
