Together, we're searching for a candidate with electrical construction expertise- specifically, someone holding a Masters Electrician License in the state of Texas. We're looking to hire at Electrical Superintendent level to work full-time on a project in New Mexico on a rotational basis.
Ideally, you should have strong electrical construction experience specifically within utility-scale solar, and be able to take ownership of self-perform electrical installation across an active construction site. This is very much a field-focused leadership role, so we need someone who understands how large-scale solar projects are actually built, can lead electrical crews in the field, and is comfortable driving safety, productivity, quality and schedule across the electrical scope. - Lead self-perform electrical construction from the front, managing field supervisors, foremen and craft labor to ensure electrical installation activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with the project schedule.
- Oversee electrical scopes across the project, including DC collection, AC systems, MV cabling, grounding, equipment installation and other associated electrical infrastructure, ensuring work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly field activities, managing manpower, equipment, materials and work sequencing to maintain productivity and achieve key construction milestones.
- Work closely with project management, engineering, quality, safety and other field teams to resolve constructability issues, remove roadblocks and ensure electrical activities remain aligned with the broader construction schedule.
- Drive electrical scopes through completion and turnover, ensuring installations are properly inspected, tested and documented while coordinating closely with commissioning teams to support energization, substantial completion and final project handover.
You MUST possess a Master Electrical License in the state of Texas. Licenses in additional states would be a plus, but the Texas license is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
