Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Perform system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices to identify issues
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal operation and energy efficiency
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving plumbing, welding, ammonia refrigeration, or mechanical components
- Service field operations by performing appliance repairs, property maintenance tasks, and emergency troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, system configurations, and repair logs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or as a service technician with a focus on HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, and equipment repair
- Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and components
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for installation and troubleshooting purposes
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Mechanical skills including welding, appliance repair, and property maintenance are highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and field service procedures is advantageous
- Competence in using testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for electrical diagnostics
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
