Job Title: Adult Probation Officer II
Department Name: Adult Probation/Parole
Starting Rate: $21.47
Conduct searches of offenders, their residences, and their property, as appropriate, and per departmental policy.
Prepares mandated reports in accordance with established procedures (e.g., Contact, Weekly Supervision & Final Disposition) and special reports, as directed by proper authority.
Submit change forms reflecting modifications to offenders’ docket, supervision level, sentence, assigned Probation Officer, supervision fee, capias, detainer and/or other pertinent circumstances.
OTHER DUTIES OF JOB:
Interacts with internal Probation Services staff, supervisor, district attorneys, defense attorneys, service providers, and other county agencies.

Must possess the ability to establish effective work relationships with the Court, Departmental superiors, peers, and support staff; offenders, and their families, friends, and advocates; offenders’ victims, and their families, friends, and advocates; social-service, educational, and law enforcement professionals; community-based associations; and other interested persons.
