Description
The Director of Student Activities and After School Care oversees all aspects of the extracurricular program and after school care program at SHMS, including but not limited to purchasing healthy and affordable snacks, keeping an inventory of toy and games, working with the business office to provide accurate reports of child attendance for billing purposes, recruiting and supervising club moderators and hosts, handling enrollment, sign-ups, budgets and costs associated with clubs and activities. The Director of Student Activities and After School Care attends all weekend extracurricular competition activities such as, but not limited to, Governor’s Cup competitions, 6th Grade Showcase, Chess tournaments, and Robotics tournaments.
This is a 40 hour per week position. Monday through Friday hours are 10:00am-6:00pm but may vary depending on weekend responsibilities such as extracurricular tournaments.
