The childcare worker will be responsible for providing care for children during childcare events in fulfilling the work of the Children’s Ministry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Arrive on time for each event.
- Provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all children.
- Care for each child by ensuring they are clean and safe.

Ensure the room is picked up and sanitized after event.
- Provide clear communication with parents at drop off and pick up.
- Be able to lift at least 20 lbs. and quickly react in situations.
- Follow all safe and secure procedures as related to this position.

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

Should have at least a High School diploma; or equivalent certification.

Preferred 1 year of relevant experience in childcare.

Preferably needs to be skilled at providing care for children from ages 0-12.

Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of general terminology related to childcare and procedures.

Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and apply skills learned.
Physical

Constantly lifting 1 to 10 lbs. and frequently lifting 11 to 50 lbs.

Frequent walking, 3 miles per day.

Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, and keying.

Requires repetitive use of feet and hands.
