We are looking for a Fabricator Welder to join our Manufacturing team in Homestead, FL.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for welding using blueprints, drawings, or other information utilizing the best method of welding parts and assemblies.
- Weld parts together according to specifications.
- Set up welding machines and prepare work area.
- Verify accuracy of parts prepared by others.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing job functions.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs.
- Operate with grinders and drills.
- Be familiar with the installation of PTO and hydraulic components
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and other information required to determine proper function of parts manufactured at each stage of production.
- Ability to understand technical information and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow established safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines multiple times a day.
- Good communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening.
