Description:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations across our Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Installation, and Snow & Ice Management service divisions. This role leads our crews, coordinates resources, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Sarver Landscape & Tree Care’s quality standards. The Production Manager also oversees internal operations including shop organization, fleet maintenance, and equipment readiness.

Operational Leadership

Plan, schedule, and oversee daily work for maintenance and installation crews.

Coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing for efficient job execution.

Conduct site visits to verify quality, safety, and production efficiencies.

Assist Install estimating and lead generation

Collaborate with Account Managers and Estimators to ensure accurate project planning and cost awareness.

Crew & Team Development

Lead, coach, and support Crew Leaders and field staff.

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and skill development.

Promote a positive team culture and reinforce company standards.

Internal Operations (Shop & Fleet Management)

Oversee shop organization and maintenance, inventory tracking, and tool management.

Schedule and track vehicle and equipment maintenance to reduce downtime.

Oversee Asset Management software

Coordinate with mechanical staff or external service providers when needed.

Snow & Ice Management

Lead winter storm response, staffing, route assignments, and equipment staging.

Monitor weather forecasts and maintain on-call availability during snow events.

Conduct post-storm reviews, documentation, and equipment inspections.
Normal work hours are 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with seasonal adjustments.
This role spends time in the office, shop, and on job sites.
On-call availability is required during winter snow operations.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of landscape production or field management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Pa Pesticide license plus applicable categories (not required but a plus).
- Ability to solve problems, adjust plans, and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, but not required).
